Comparing every PL team’s points and goal tallies to this time last season

Manchester City have been the standout team in the Premier League this season, but there have been notable improvements from Manchester United and Liverpool. The less said about Arsenal and Chelsea, the better.

City scraped to third place last season, but have dominated the division this term and currently lead fierce rivals United by 16 points.

Jose Mourinho has come under criticism for the gap between the two Manchester clubs, although United themselves have improved considerably in 2017-18.

With two thirds of the campaign having now been played, we’ve compared the points, goals scored and goals conceded tallies of every club to the same point last term.
