Watch: 12 of Cristiano Ronaldo’s best goals in the Champions League

Quick Reads

Cristiano Ronaldo made history in April 2013 by becoming the first player to score 100 goals in the Champions League – and there were some crackers among them.

The Real Madrid superstar has set a number of records the 32-year-old in the competition, including the most goals in a single group stage (11 in 2015-16), most goals in the knockout stage (42 to date) and most goals in a single season (17 in 2013-14).

He is also the only player to score 15 or more goals in two Champions League campaigns, the only player to score three-hat-tricks in the competition in the same season and the only player to score for two different winning finalists, having struck against Chelsea for Manchester United in 2008 and against Atletico Madrid for Real in 2014.

And we’ve picked out a dozen of his best goals against Europe’s elite.
