Devoting yourself to a football club can often make you act a bit irrationally.
We’ve all done things we shouldn’t have, or not done things we should have, to ensure we are able to watch our team play.
And this week one avid Juventus fan literally tried to hospitalise himself in order to get a good view of the Bianconeri’s clash with Crotone.
Crotone’s ground, the Ezio Scida stadium, is overlooked by the San Giovanni di Dio hospital, in which patients benefit from an unobstructed view of the ensuing action on matchdays.

The viewing spots have become increasingly popular, with patients often inviting family and friends to watch the Serie A fixtures.
But with the reigning champions in town on Wednesday, the hospital decided to operate on a patients-only policy.
One Juve supporter from Reggio Calabria in southern Italy remained undeterred, however, and tried to convince staff he was sick and required medical attention.
According to Italian outlet Reggio Informa, the fan sadly failed in his quest, but we would like to applaud his commitment to the cause.
Twenty-six to get.
How do the two hitmen match up?
We all loved Steed.
Can we do it again now please?
He was one of the world’s most exciting players.
There’s a couple of curve balls in this one.
The man wanted by all the top six.
“That extra edge I thought I had was taken away.”
Who thought this was a good idea?!
