Some of the most iconic Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool kits are so fondly remembered partly because of the shirt sponsor adorned on the front.
There have been many, many cool kits down the years, as well as a lot of catastrophic designs – and one thing that can make or break that is a good sponsor.
Of course no club is going to change a lucrative sponsorship deal just to make the kit look better but it has definitely affected the way some kits are remembered in hindsight.
We’ve compiled a list of 20 kits from Premier League years gone by with the main kit sponsor blacked out in an effort to test your knowledge.
This is your chance to show how well you really know your kits and sponsorship in particular. So grab a cuppa, enjoy and don’t forget to share your result with us on Twitter @planetfutebol.
