Arsenal came unstuck when they travelled to Manchester City at the weekend – and Alan Shearer has provided some fascinating insight into the problems with their pressing tactics.
Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus saw Arsenal slump to a 3-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium, although Arsene Wenger suggested afterwards they were hard done to by a couple of decisions from the officials.
The Frenchman claimed that Raheem Sterling dived for the penalty which Aguero converted, while Jesus appeared to be offside for the third goal.
But BBC pundit Shearer suggests Arsenal’s problems are much more fundamental, and picked holes in their ability to press City effectively.
