Antonio Conte cut a frustrated figure when this reporter asked him a question regarding the January transfer activity at Chelsea.
Conte has overseen a shaky month at Stamford Bridge, during which the Italian has suggested that he has nothing to do with the transfer policy at the club.
Much has been publicised about the search for a striker, with the Blues surprisingly linked with the likes of Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch and Ashley Barnes before the deadline day arrival of Olivier Giroud from Arsenal.
This was after Conte seemed to completely distance himself from the decision to sign full-back Emerson Palmieri from Roma, saying: “I don’t remember Palmieri because he played in Italy only last season.”
And he can be seen here in a clip from Brazilian TV – though the actual interview is in English – looking distinctly unimpressed when asked on the transfer activity around the club throughout January.
