Arsene Wenger has revealed Pep Guardiola once visited his home as he wanted to join Arsenal as a player.
The duo obviously have a mutual respect for each other, as Guardiola also spoke to Wenger while Barcelona boss to ask for advice as a manager
“I spoke to him a few times and he came once to my home when he was a player, he wanted to play for Arsenal,” Wenger told beIN Sports.
“I think he has done much better than I have. He knows very well what to do, he has exceptional teams and is managing them very well.
“I respect what he does because he has a clear vision of the game, a positive attitude, a positive philosophy.”
