Davide Zappcosta laid down a marker to Victor Moses with his first Chelsea goal against FK Qarabag – and his team-mates were more than happy to let the Nigeria international know it.
Qarabag made history by becoming the first team from Azerbaijan to appear in the Champions League but were thumped 6-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Zappacosta was making his full debut for Chelsea after joining from Torino on deadline day and opened his account with an effort from all of 30 yards.
The Italy international later admitted he actually intended to cross the ball, but that didn’t stop David Luiz and Willy Caballero ribbing Moses, who now faces serious competition for his right wing-back spot.

These are mightily impressive.
The Ox is justifying his decision to leave Arsenal
We all know who’s number one.
The Ox has found his feet at Liverpool.
It’s not even the first time this has happened.
Son Heung-min deserves much more celebration.
Plus why we’re scared of Antonio Conte.
Could a move to Manchester be imminent?
At least the mistake didn’t prove costly.
Some harsh words here from Redknapp.
