Jurgen Klopp got his tactics spot onas Liverpool eased into the Champions League group stages with a 4-2 victory over Hoffenheim at Anfield.
Already leading 2-1 from the first leg, Liverpool blew away the Bundesliga outfit early on and led 3-0 after 21 minutes thanks to an Emre Can brace and a Mo Salah goal.
Mark Uth, who was brought on in the first half as Hoffenheim desperately tried to change tactics, pulled a goal back before Roberto Firmino added a fourth for the hosts.
Sandro Wagner managed a late consolation, but it was a triumphant night for Liverpool and a tactical masterclass from Klopp, whose gameplan helped the Reds break down their opponents time and time again – as the below video highlights.
