Lukas Podolski served a reminder of his viscous left foot by scoring the winner in Germany’s 1-0 victory over England on Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old’s screamer came in his final appearance for Germany, for whom he has been a fixture their squad for the past 13 years.
Podolski has never truly established himself at one of the top clubs in Europe, but his spell at Arsenal did produce some memorable moments. He managed 31 goals for the Gunners, despite making only 55 starts, and we’ve picked out some of his best.
