Sadio Mane’s red card against Manchester City continues to provoke plenty of debate – and Jamie Carragher didn’t waste the opportunity to get the opinion of the man himself.
Liverpool collapsed to a 5-0 defeat at City after Mane saw red following a high boot which caught Ederson in the face and left the goalkeeper needing to be stretchered off the field.
The decision led to plenty of disagreement over whether the forward deserved to receive his marching orders or not, and we sought the opinion of former Premier League referee Mark Halsey.
Former Reds hero Carragher decided to interrupt Mane’s warm-up to cheekily ask the player for his own opinion while pitchside ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League draw with Sevilla.

Lots of teams are ruing the absence of Aston Villa
You’ve got 15 minutes. You’re going to need them.
Plus the worst coin toss you’ll ever see.
The perfect goal must include moments of comedy.
How very Dele Alli.
Kevin De Bruyne was at it again against Burnley.
Jose Mourinho was unsurprisingly not a happy man.
Let’s see more of this.
No prizes for getting No.1.
