Watch: Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford score as Man United beat City

Romelu Lukaku made it two goals in as many games as Manchester United beat arch-rivals Manchester City 2-0 in the International Champions Cup opener.

The Belgium striker got off the mark for his new club in their last friendly against Real Salt Lake on Tuesday with Henrikh Mkhitaryan scoring the other goal in a 2-1 win.

And in the first-ever Manchester derby on foreign soil, Lukaku was at it again as he broke the deadlock on 37 minutes when he latched onto a through ball from Paul Pogba to finish from a tight angle after City keeper Ederson failed to cut the ball out.

Marcus Rashford was the other player to get on the scoresheet for the Red Devils when he doubled their lead only two minutes later, burying a low shot after good work from Mkhitaryan.

Nineteen substitutes were used in total during the match in Houston, and although United were the better team for much of the match it was hard to draw any conclusions ahead of next season.

City are currently favourites to win the title, however, with United the third favourites behind Chelsea according to trusted betting sites.
