Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba created his side’s equaliser in the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham, but not until after a moment of madness.
Pogba, who has come under a lot of criticism of late, had a slow start to the match in which Spurs took the lead in the 10th minute when Dele Alli met Christian Eriksen’s excellent ball in.
The midfielder then was made to look a fool after he was crowded by Davinson Sanchez, Kieran Trippier and Eriksen deep in Spurs’ half.
Alexis Sanchez was slowly coming onto the overlap, and Pogba attempted a backheel turn to try get the ball out to the Chilean, but ended up getting the ball stuck under his legs and losing possession without any Spurs man having to tackle.
Then, to make things even worse, Tottenham man Sanchez found Trippier in a situation similar to a pre-match warm-up, with the right-back prodding the ball through Pogba’s legs.

The Queen at right-back? But her legs have gone.
Arsenal wanted to sign the goalkeeper.
Against all odds, it became the Mertesacker final.
You’ve got 22 to get. Easy, right?
The league winners don’t come out on top.
Ashley Young isn’t actually young, it turns out.
David Beckham + Pepsi adverts = pure gold.
Funny Wenger, angry Wenger, philosophical Wenger.
There’s one clear winner.
Twelve to get. Easy, surely?
