Playing alongside a World Cup winner and former World Player of the Year would put the average amateur football under a fair bit of pressure.
The winners of Betfair’s #MagicOfBarça competition, however, were not aware they were playing with or against Barcelona and Brazil legend Rivaldo. As far as they know, running onto the pitch was just another winner, Roberto Da Silva.
‘Da Silva’, of course, was a cut above everybody else, winning man of the match in a game at Barcelona’s training ground, Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Collecting his award, Da Silva revealed himself as ex-Barca icon Rivaldo, the joint-fourth top goalscorer in the club’s history, and winner of two La Liga titles, one Copa Del Rey and one UEFA Super Cup with the club. You’d be really regretting that miss from six yards out at that point, wouldn’t you?

Kevin De Bruyne was at it again against Burnley.
Jose Mourinho was unsurprisingly not a happy man.
Let’s see more of this.
No prizes for getting No.1.
That poor defender.
One of the Premier League’s most intimidating men.
A tribute to the absolute master of the chip.
Who knew Paul Ince could do *this*?
Twelve to get in 10 minutes.
It makes good reading for the English clubs.
