Roberto Pereyra pulled off one of the best pieces of individual skill seen all season in Watford’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.
The snow had dominated football throughout the day, producing some incredible scenes at Stoke and Huddersfield in the Premier League, while the Football League was decimated with stoppages and postponements.
However, for the Premier League’s evening kick-off Anfield looked untouched, and Mo Salah left his disappointing display against Manchester United behind him to put his side two goals to the good by half-time.
Pereyra had the ball out wide and was being tracked by Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane, seemingly running down a blind alley.
But the Argentinian pulled off an excellent piece of skill, letting the ball run in between his legs before clipping it with his heel.
The ball ran through Mane’s legs and saw Pereyra burst away towards the penalty area, leaving his marker for dead.
