Arsenal and Tottenham may be traditional rivals but Petr Cech put that to one side as soon as Ryan Mason suffered a horrific head injury against Chelsea.
Former Spurs midfielder Mason fractured his skull after clashing heads with Gary Cahill while playing for Hull City at Stamford Bridge.
Cech suffered a similar injury during his time at Chelsea following a collision with Stephen Hunt.
And Mason has revealed the Arsenal goalkeeper was straight in touch with his family and helped aid the England international’s recovery.
Mason told talkSPORT: “I can’t speak highly enough of Petr Cech. He’s set the standards of what it is to be a proper man and a gentleman.”
