Having completed an undergraduate and Masters degree in History at the University of Manchester, I began writing about football in my free time before entering the profession in 2020.
I began freelance writing for Planet Football, learning the cut and thrust of football journalism on the job and writing features about the sport’s lighter side.
After 18 months as a regular contributor, I went full-time with Planet Football in 2022 as a Staff Writer, before being promoted to Features Editor in 2023 and Site Editor in 2024.
I’m a West Ham United season ticket holder and make sure I apply the high journalistic standards I expect when reading about my own club to every club we cover, from Manchester United to Millwall.
