11 things we loved on Boxing Day: Pogba, Hazard, Lovren, Son & more
Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham men all caught our eye on an action-packed Boxing Day in the Premier League.
While we continued to stuff as much food and booze into our faces as humanly possible, footballers up and down the country donned their boots in a number of high-scoring and entertaining clashes.
We’ve rounded up the best of the action on and off the pitch.
Mauro Icardi
Some spent their day playing FIFA.

Ricardo Pereira
A goal celebrated as much in Liverpool as it was in Leicester.
Paul Pogba
It always helps when the goalkeeper decides not to use his hands. But that celebration is excellent.
Dejan Lovren
He must have been unbearable in the changing room after scoring this.
Roberto Pereyra
A corner routine, in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time, which would have made your dad incredibly angry if it went wrong. It went so, so right.
Son Heung-min
*insert Benny Hill music here*
Lucas Digne
We were sad when Everton signed Digne to replace one of our favourite players in Leighton Baines, but it turns out he’s a lot of fun too.
Leeds United
Kemar Roofe bagged another 95th-minute winner to complete another ridiculous comeback for Leeds. But the highlights have to be the celebrations of Pontus Jansson going full Forest Gump and an injured Gaetano Berardi seemingly fighting every member of the backroom staff single-handedly.

Sadio Mane
Even when he’s not scoring, Mane is a lot of fun.
