11 things we loved on day 11: Lingard, Alexander-Arnold, Fabregas & more
Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea men all caught our eye on day 11 at the World Cup.
England stole the headlines with their 6-1 thrashing of Panama, but there were plenty of goals elsewhere as Senegal drew 2-2 with Japan and Colombia beat Poland 3-0.
We’ve rounded up the best of the action on and off the pitch.
Jesse Lingard
Oh yes.

Sweden
Sweden’s whole squad united in support of Jimmy Durmaz, who has been subjected to racist abuse since their loss to Germany.
Toulouse attacker Jimmy Durmaz was subjected to racist abuse on social media last night after his foul led to Toni Kroos' winning free-kick goal over Sweden. Today, he responded, backed by the whole squad: "F*** racism." pic.twitter.com/vAjhUQ4vg2

Jamie Vardy
We’ve all been there.
You can just tell that Vardy’s like… no but seriously… where are the cans? What… what actually is this? pic.twitter.com/12tfuCA6Zz

Rene Higuita & Carlos Valderrama
Colombia were backed by two heroes for their win against Poland. Those barnets are still going strong.
