13 things we loved this weekend: Rashford, Sterling, Pogba, Ramos…

Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City men caught our eye this weekend as the last football of 2018 was played.
United continued their resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while Liverpool threatened to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League, only for City to pull off an important victory at Southampton.
We’ve rounded up the best of the action on and off the pitch.
Roberto Firmino
What a goal. What a celebration. So good we dedicated an entire article to it.
Marcus Rashford
Yes, Paul Pogba got the goal, but it was all about Rashford’s assist.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
It’s comforting to know there’s not actually that much difference between us and the Manchester United manager.
Solskjær: "What would I have done today if I wasn't manager? I would probably have watched the game on telly, having some crisps and cake." #MUFC

Andros Townsend
Good lad, Andros.
Townsend chases a ball, keeps it in, but collides with a photographer. Andros maybe could have won the loose ball but checks to see if the photographer is ok. She is. Gent

Raheem Sterling
The Manchester City star’s one-year-old son is already a better footballer than you.

Neil Etheridge
Sounds like a conspiracy to us.
@oilysailor Neil etheridge's 3 saved penalties this season have been from players who share a name with a former US president: Wilson, Kenedy, Maddison.

Billy Sharp
Not bad for a fat lad from Sheffield.
Sergio Ramos
Give yourself a pat on the back, Sergio.
Sergio Ramos has gone the full year of 2018 without a single red card. This is the first time in his 16 year old career. pic.twitter.com/DJ0RlmV7mU

Sergio Ramos, again
Someone unearthed this gem and we couldn’t not include it.

Serdar Aziz
We would like to introduce you to our new favourite player.
Do you guys wanna hear a crazy story?
Serdar Aziz missed Galatasaray’s last game against Sivasspor due to an upset stomach
The next day his wife posted a photo from the Maldives on Insta… guess who was there.. Mr Aziz!
Galatasaray responded by transfer listing Aziz 🤦‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/YeAUf0ZRDN

This touch from Sheffield Wednesday’s Under-23 boss is absolutely outrageous.
