15 things we loved this week: Rashford, Fabinho, Bielsa, Roofe & more

European football returned this week as we witnessed yet more brilliance in the Champions League and the Europa League.
Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford continued to be a better person than all of us put together and Marcelo Bielsa managed to cheer us up.
We’ve rounded up the best of the action on and off the pitch.
Marcus Rashford
The winner in Paris wasn’t bad, but more importantly Rashford has kept on fighting to end child poverty in the UK. It’s been a big week, and that’s probably kept him quite busy, but he’s not stopped taking the time to do the little things like this…
Ah this is really lovely. Do you want to send me the questions and I’ll get them answered for you? Also, you need a new shirt. Leave that with me ♥️ https://t.co/H8uKdRNmpX

Papu Gomez
We love this player. We love this team. We love any shot that kisses the bar on the way into the back of the net.
Pick that one out!

Dominik Szoboszlai
What were we just saying about shots that kiss the bar on the way in?
What a strike from 19-year-old Dominik Szoboszlai for Salzburg!
The dip on that! No goalkeeper would have a chance 🚀 pic.twitter.com/iPdkJp3i7x

Corentin Tolisso
We can only dream of striking a ball that sweetly.
"What a hit and what a way to clinch it!"

Fabinho
Yes, you’ve seen it a thousand times already, but it’s still just as impressive as it was on the first watch.
This was some goal-line clearance from Fabinho! ⛔️
A vital one too, with Liverpool beating Ajax 1-0 in Amsterdam… pic.twitter.com/EbJ3QQYer2

Wesley Sneijder
Well, not Sneijder specifically, but rather this presumably regretful Manchester United fan.
this is a really good mate of mine. Buzzing to find out only last night that he has a “Sneijder” tattoo on his leg that he got in anticipation of Man United signing Wesley Sneijder when he was heavily linked with them years ago. He never signed. pic.twitter.com/kddUFHyIQX

Luis Diaz
We’ve suddenly got a really big urge to watch The Road Runner.
What an excellent individual goal from Luis Díaz! 💥
There was no stopping the Colombian…
A nightmare start for Man City! 😳 pic.twitter.com/FbOw1xCCmo

Luka Modric
He makes this look so easy we often wonder why he doesn’t just do it a bit more.
There was no stopping this Luka Modric effort.

Osama VinLaden
And the prize for Story We Did Not Expect To Read This Week goes to…
This Peruvian footballer's name is Osama VinLaden and his brother's name is Saddam Hussein. They wanted to name the third child George Bush but it was a girl.
