15 things we loved this weekend: Henderson, Pepe, Dybala, Sancho…
Liverpool and Arsenal maintained their perfect starts in the Premier League over the weekend, while the action got underway for the season in Spain and Germany.
Manchester City dropped their first points of the season as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham at the Etihad, while Barcelona were shocked by Athletic Bilbao in their opening La Liga game.
We’ve rounded up the best of the action on and off the pitch.
Bernardo Silva
This is majestic. We love the man.
Jordan Henderson
Virgil van Dijk offered to give Henderson the captain’s armband when he came off the bench for Liverpool, but leaders don’t need an armband to lead.
Bernd Leno
Reactions.
Paulo Dybala
We genuinely can’t decide whether we like the turn or the chip most.
