Christian Eriksen’s cardiac arrest during Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland put everything else into perspective over the weekend.
Fortunately, Eriksen is now in a stable condition in hospital and that brilliant news trumps everything else that took place on the pitch.
There was only one place to start when rounding up the weekend, with some of the most heart-warming reactions and support as Eriksen continues his recovery.
Andy Robertson
We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
