In the weird and wonderful world that is football Twitter, BBC journalist David Ornstein has become a cult hero among Arsenal fans.

Ornstein has built up a reputation with supporters as the most reliable source of information for all things relating to the Gunners.

And as a result, the replies to his Arsenal tweets are flooded with memes, picturing the journalist’s face on statues, celebrating players, TV characters etc.

Often in the memes Ornstein can be found in direct competition with the Mirror’s John Cross, his main adversary, or occasionally Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solehkol.
