The 30 Ballon d’Or nominees by club, position, nationality and age
The 30-man shortlist for the 2017 Ballon d’Or award has been revealed – and Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are all represented.
In total there are seven Premier League players on the list, but La Liga leads the way with 11 nominations, while Serie A provides five, Ligue 1 contributes four and the Bundesliga three.
Real Madrid are the most represented club with seven players among the 30, while Neymar’s transfer means PSG have three compared to just a pair from Barcelona. Chelsea and Liverpool are the Premier League’s best represented clubs with a couple each.
