Comparing Dean Henderson’s 2019-20 stats to Man Utd’s David de Gea

Manchester United have a wide range options in the goalkeeping department – but who should be their number one next season?

David de Gea has come under pressure after some poor performances this season while Dean Henderson has been thriving on loan at Sheffield United.

We’ve compared their Premier League stats from 2019-20 to see who comes out on top.

As the numbers show, Henderson has kept 10 clean sheets in 27 Premier League games and that’s two more than De Gea has managed in 29 games.

Henderson also has a slightly better save ratio and has only made one error leading to a goal this season while De Gea has already made three mistakes.

The Spaniard is actually making more saves per game than the Sheffield United goalkeeper, but he is still conceding more goals per game.
