There are few holding midfielders in the Premier League better than West Ham’s Declan Rice and so it’s no surprise that Manchester United have been perpetually linked with him.

For at least two years now, Rice’s future has been debated but he’s remained at West Ham and has played a vital part in their transition to a respectable team worthy of European football.

He may not decide to leave, but that won’t stop the rumours and with Manchester United needing a holding midfielder it could be a match made in heaven.
