Comparing Guardiola’s PL record to the greats: Ferguson, Wenger, Mou…
No manager in the history of the Premier League has arrived with as big a reputation as Pep Guardiola, and it’s safe to say during his time at Manchester City he’s lived up to the hype.
When Guardiola was appointed as Manuel Pellegrini’s successor at The Etihad back in 2016, he’d already won three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues in his four years in charge of boyhood club Barcelona, and developed his managerial style with three successive Bundesliga titles during his three years at Bayern Munich.
But how does he compare to the great managers of the Premier League? Here’s how his managerial statistics in the English top-flight compare with the three other multiple title-winning managers Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.
