Comparing Rodon’s 2019-20 stats to Tottenham’s current centre-backs

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Swansea City’s Joe Rodon as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his defence.

After signing Matt Doherty and Sergio Reguilon, Spurs are now trying to sign a centre-back before the domestic transfer window closes.

With this in mind, we’ve compared Rodon’s 2019-20 Championship statistics to the corresponding Premier League stats of Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Japhet Tanganga. Note: we’ve not included Juan Foyth due to a lack of game-time.
