For the players with the very highest potential, you’re probably going to need to spend a huge amount. If you’re looking for the best bargains in the game, take a look at the hidden gems section.

Highest potential players on EA FC 24

1. Erling Haaland – 94 Potential

Erling Haaland scored a stunning 36 goals in the Premier League last season – destroying the records of Alan Shearer and Andy Cole with his first attempt.

At the age of 23, the Man City goal machine still has room for improvement and his potential on EA FC 24 Career Mode reflects that.

Haaland starts with an overall of 91 – already the joint-highest in the game but has the potential to grow to 94. Unsurprisingly, though, he will be unbelievably expensive.

The Norway international has an estimated value of £166.5m, but if you try and sign him from Man City in your first season, he could cost upwards of an eye-watering £300m.

2. Vinicius Junior – 94 Potential

Another of Europe’s biggest superstars, Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior stars off with a rating of 89.

Boasting 95 sprint speed and 95 acceleration, few players on the game can keep up with him once he gets into his stride. He also has five-star skill moves, so he’s really fun to have in your team.

Vini Jr. is still only 22 and like Haaland, has a potential of 94 – so he could become the joint-highest-rated player in the game.

Only the richest clubs can afford the Brazilian left-winger, though, as he has an estimated value of £142.5m.

3. Kylian Mbappe – 94 Potential

A man who needs no introduction, Kylian Mbappe has the joint-highest base rating on EA FC 24 with an overall of 91.

He can play as a striker or as a left-winger, and unbelievably, is even quicker than VIni Jr. with 97 acceleration and sprint speed.

But once again, he’s not going to come cheap. The PSG superstar is valued at around £163.5m – but with a potential of 94, he will be your best player for many years if you can lure him away from the Parc des Princes.

4. Jamal Musiala – 93 Potential

Jamal Musiala is undoubtedly one of the most exciting young players in the Bundesliga and isn’t to be missed out on if you can afford to sign him.

The 20-year-old can play as a CM, LM or CAM and would get into any team. Boasting five-star skill moves and 94 dribbling, Musiala is another player who can run rings around any defender if used properly.

He starts with an overall of 86 but has the potential to reach 93. He has an estimated valuation of £119m, but you will most likely have to spend more to convince Bayern Munich into selling their golden boy.

5. Pedri – 92 Potential

If you want to sign the next Xavi or Andreas Iniesta then look no further than Pedri. The 19-year-old Barcelona CM starts with a rating of 86, with outstanding stats such as 88 short passing and 88 vision.

The Catalans won’t let Pedri leave on the cheap, though. He has an estimated valuation of £92.5m at the start of the game, but it’s better to sign him sooner rather than later as his price will only increase.

6. Kvicha Kvaratskhelia – 92 Potential

Last but certainly not least, Napoli left-winger Kvicha Kvaratskhelia also has the potential to become one of the best players on EA FC 24 Career Mode.

The 21-year-old has a rating of 86, with a potential of 92. He is one of the few players with both five-star skill moves and a five-star weak foot, which makes him a really enjoyable player to have.

With a valuation of around £98m, you’ll need to have plenty of cash at your disposal to have any chance of signing him.

Ajax’s youth system is world-renowned and it would be wrong not to have one of their top prospects on this list.

Amourricho van Axel Dongen made his Ajax debut last season and has the potential to become a top, top player. The 17-year-old left-winger starts off with a rating of 65 but can rise to an impressive 85 with regular game time.

With four-star skill moves and five-star weak foot, he’s unbelievably fun to play with. He already boasts stats of 82 acceleration and 81 sprint speed, but can become absolutely rapid the more he improves.
