Salah, who joined Liverpool in 2017, has won two Premier League Golden Boot awards and is currently leading the race for the 2021-22 award.
Kane is the current holder of the Golden Boot award after scoring 23 league goals for Tottenham in 2020-21 but looks unlikely to retain it.
