How Mikel Arteta’s record vs the big six at Arsenal compares to Unai Emery’s

Mikel Arteta has made a hugely promising start as Arsenal boss, continuing his eye-catching record against ‘big six’ clubs with a penalty shootout victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield.

Arteta replaced the sacked Unai Emery at the Emirates in December 2019, with one of the many criticisms of Emery being his record against Arsenal’s fellow big six clubs.

We’ve taken a closer look at both Arteta and Emery’s record vs these clubs in all competitions at Arsenal to see how they compare.
