How Salah’s record after 100 PL games for LFC compares to other PL greats
Mo Salah celebrated a landmark Liverpool appearance with a goal in the Reds’ 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday.
Bournemouth took a surprise early lead through Callum Wilson, only for Salah to settle any nerves on Merseyside with the equaliser in the 25th minute before Sadio Mane bagged the winner shortly afterwards.
The goal came on Salah’s 100th appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool and was his 70th strike in the competition since joining Jurgen Klopp’s side.
That tally means only Alan Shearer has scored more Premier League goals in his first 100 appearances for a single club.
Salah also became Liverpool’s all-time greatest overseas goalscorer ahead of Luis Suarez as well as the first Reds player since Michael Owen to notch 20 goals in all competitions for three consecutive seasons.
If you’ve got any sense, you’ll want to look around for ways to make money out of his incredible form.
