11 fringe players Chelsea sold at a profit: Traore, Bamford, Bertrand…
Chelsea have made a big profit on yet another fringe player after allowing Bertrand Traore to join Lyon in an £8.8million deal.
Unlike many of his peers, Traore was given a chance to impress in the Blues’ first team, catching the eye with four goals in 16 appearances in 2015-16.
However, after a positive season on loan at Ajax, he has become the latest in a long line of young talents to leave Stamford Bridge for a profit.
