Ranking the nine headers Marcus Rashford has scored for Man Utd
Marcus Rashford has been making quite the name for himself recently as an aerial specialist with all of the headed goals he has been scoring for Manchester United.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form under Erik ten Hag as he had already scored 21 goals during this campaign. He has been United’s main talisman and is thriving under the new boss.
Throughout his career at Old Trafford, Rashford has scored a total of nine headers and we’ve gone ahead and ranked them all from worst to best.
9. Stoke City (2017-18)
Rashford scored a total of 15 league goals under Jose Mourinho and it’s probably fair to say that he didn’t know all too much about this one against Stoke.
Paul Pogba wins the initial header from the corner and sends it in the direction of Rashford who will be happy enough to claim it. They all count.

8. Huddersfield Town (2017-18)
Romelu Lukaku channels his inner Ryan Giggs for this goal with a drop of the shoulder and a perfectly weighted cross from the right-hand side.
The defending is a little bit suspect, but Rashford does well to peel off his man and guide the header past Jonas Lossl.
Lukaku's crossing from the right wing is very underrated set up rashford Against Huddersfield when he came in as a sub and did the same for Jesse lingard Against Chelsea.#mufc pic.twitter.com/3vsBMhe4gj

7. Valencia (2018-19)
The goal ultimately meant very little in the end as United went on to lose the game 2-1, but Rashford expertly positions himself in the middle of the box to meet Ashley Young’s cross.
6. Sheriff Tiraspol (2022-23)
Now we are talking. Luke Shaw has developed quite the relationship with Rashford this season as the pair seem to know how to get the best out of each other.
The United forward powers his header past the goalkeeper at the near post after latching onto Shaw’s well-timed cross.
Not too shabby!

5. Leeds United (2022-23)
The ability to hang in the air and generate enough power to beat the goalkeeper cannot be underestimated. Rashford’s header sparked United back to life in this one as they salvaged a 2-2 draw.
4. Arsenal (2015-16)
Rashford was thrust into the limelight with a brace on his Premier League debut against Arsenal. He does well with to take his first goal with a sweeping finish and the header is just the cherry on top.
From a standing start, he only has a split second to sort his footwork out and then boom. Over 300 appearances later and he is still finding the back of the net for United.

3. Leeds United (2022-23)
Only four days after he had scored against Leeds at Old Trafford, he once again turned up to haunt them at Elland Road. With the game hanging in the balance at 0-0, of course it was Rashford who broke the deadlock.
He just about manages to beat the offside flag and his header into the far post leaves Illan Meslier hopelessly rooted to the spot.
OF COURSE IT HAS TO BE RASHFORD!!!! 🔥

2. Newcastle United (2019-20)
This is your typical centre-forward-type goal and it’s absolutely brilliant. Back in 2019, Rashford wasn’t known for his aerial prowess, but he has clearly worked hard on his craft since.
The run, leap and header is all brilliantly executed here.

1. West Ham (2022-23)
The finest in the collection so far. Rashford channels his inner Cristiano Ronaldo for this one with a gravity-defying leap at the far post.
There was no stopping this one.
