The 14 players with the most Premier League hat-tricks: Aguero, Kane…
The Premier League has been blessed with some truly elite forwards over the years who have managed to score an abundance of hat tricks.
Erling Haaland has taken the Premier League by storm this season and is only one hat-trick away from equaling Alan Shearer’s record of five hat-tricks in a single season.
Unsurprisingly, the former Newcastle forward ranks highly on this list with 11 Premier League hat-tricks in total. Shearer scored five hat-tricks for Blackburn in the 1995-96 season as he ended that campaign with 31 goals.
Although he is pipped to the top spot by Sergio Aguero, who scored a total of 12 Premier League hat-tricks. The Argentine forward was a phenomenon in Manchester and he went on to break several records.
Three of his 12 hat-tricks came against Chelsea and Arsenal as Aguero always had a knack for turning up against the London clubs. He finished his time at City as the club’s all-time top scorer with a whopping 260 goals.
“Sergio is irreplaceable. I could say in terms of numbers he can be replaceable, it’s not easy when you see more than 360 games played and more than 250 goals, the amount of titles,” Guardiola told Sky Sports
“So it’s the legend, the best striker this club has ever had for this century through the years, but is irreplaceable in the souls, in the hearts, in the minds of our fans, of our people, of the players that played alongside him and all the managers who worked with him.”

Elsewhere on the list, Harry Kane makes an appearance with eight league hat-tricks to his name. The Tottenham forward is only 56 goals behind equalling Shearer’s all time record of 260 goals.
The likes of Thierry Henry and Michael Owen have also scored eight league hat-tricks and each rank in the top 10 Premier League goalscorers of all time.
Wayne Rooney managed to score seven league hat-tricks throughout his illustrious career. Perhaps his most famous hat-trick came when Manchester United swept Arsenal aside 8-2 at Old Trafford in 2011.
Luis Suarez only had a short stint in England, but he still managed to score six hat-tricks during that time. Norwich City fans will still be having nightmares about the Uruguayan to this day.
