11 of the best goals from pre-season 2023 ft. Real Madrid, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool…

Pre-season is well underway ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season, meaning shiny new signings at the world’s biggest football clubs are off strutting their stuff in money-spinning tours around the world.

The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have already played a number of friendlies, giving their fans an early glimpse of how they’re shaping up this summer.

We’ve gone and compiled 11 of the best goals you might’ve missed from this summer’s friendlies.

Fabio Vieira

We bloody loved this strike.

Joselu

This is the best moment you’ll see all season. Joselu scoring this goal on his return to Real Madrid? Yes, that Joselu. Stupendous.

Jude Bellingham

Opening his Real Madrid account in style by taking advantage of Andre Onana being in no man’s land. Pure chef’s kiss.

Luka Romero

Sit up and take notice of this kid. AC Milan have a diamond on their hands.

Mykhailo Mudryk

Alright, it’s only a friendly, but that’s a hell of a way to score your first goal for Chelsea. We can’t wait to see more of Mauricio Pochettino’s side if this is what they’re cooking up.

Harry Wilson

There was also a lovely angle of this stunning strike from the ref’s body cam. The future has arrived.

Rodri

The treble-winner is starting as he means to go on after returning from his summer jollies.

Donny van de Beek

Remember him? We’d be surprised if Van de Beek has much of a role to play at Old Trafford this season, but this was lovely.

Antoni Sarcevic

We’ve included goals from some of the biggest superstars in football here, but none of them are as good as this from Stockport County’s Antoni Sarcevic. Simply outrageous.

Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal gave MLS All-Stars something of a pasting, and Gabriel Jesus set the tone early doors with this sensational looping effort.

Luis Diaz

Unlike some of their Premier League rivals, Liverpool have took part in some relatively low-key friendlies against lower-league German clubs. Jurgen Klopp’s focus seems to be entirely on getting things figured out for his new-look Reds side.

So it was nice of Luis Diaz to remind us what a special player he is.
