Fred turned his Manchester United career around in 2019-20 and the industrious midfielder ran at 23.17mph against Everton in December 2019.

Despite being 33 years old, Long managed to record a 23.21mph sprint speed in Southampton’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle in December 2019.
7. Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Maitland-Niles has played in a variety of positions for Arsenal in 2019-20 and was recorded at 23.27mph against Manchester City in December 2019.
6. Caglar Soyuncu
Few could have predicted that a centre-back would make the top ten, but Soyuncu hit a top speed of 23.33mph in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in November 2019.

Wan-Bissaka’s incredible recovery pace helped him make 129 tackles in 2019-20, and he clocked a top speed of 23.36 in Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to West Ham in November 2019.

Greenwood scored 10 Premier League goals in his debut season but his pace is not to be overlooked and the Manchester United forward ran at 23.36mph against Everton in March 2020.

Trezeguet scored some decisive goals for Aston Villa in 2019-20 and also displayed his frightening pace, running at 23.36mph against Manchester City in July 2020.

Traore is renowned for his blistering pace and the Wolves winger hit 23.48mph against Chelsea on the final day of the Premier League season.
