An XI of the best wonderkids to sign on Football Manager 2024: Yamal, Bellingham…
The full release of Football Manager 2024 is here. We have you covered with an XI of the best wonderkids to sign.
Finding the best upcoming stars from around the globe is great fun and if you’re an FM obsessive, you’ll no doubt already be planning your strategy for the new game.
Thanks to FMScout’s expertly compiled database, we’ve found the best wonderkids on FM24 and have compiled them into this XI in a 4-3-3 formation.
GK: Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro
A cracking name it has to be said, Owusu-Oduro is a teenage prospect currently playing for AZ Alkmaar. The 19-year-old is currently the second choice, behind Australian shot-stopper Mathew Ryan.
FMScout have earmarked the teenager as the most promising player in his position and he won’t cost much on your wage bill either. The goalkeeper is still waiting to make his senior debut for AZ, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a name for himself in the coming years.
RB: Ivan Fresneda
Arsenal were heavily linked with the Spanish full-back over the summer, but a move didn’t materialise in the end. Instead, Fresneda ended up making the switch to Sporting CP to continue his development.
After enjoying an eye-catching breakthrough with Valladolid, it’s no wonder so many top European sides were interested. The 19-year-old is considered one of the brightest prospects in Europe and he is worth picking up on FM24.
The Spain U20 international is a well-rounded modern full-back who looks steady at the back and is also able to chip in with some attacking returns.
CB: Giorgio Scalvini
Italy have quite the reputation when it comes to producing world-class defenders and it seems as if they could have another star on their hands. At 19, Scalvini has already racked up 64 appearances for Atalanta and he’s been capped seven times by Italy.
“Scalvini? He is already a great player at 19,” Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini told reporters. “He is a leader on and off the pitch. He’s destined for greatness. Wherever you put him he has quality and class.”
CB: Levi Colwill
Chelsea have fallen upon tough times recently, but they do have plenty of upcoming stars in their ranks to get excited about. Following two successful loan spells with Huddersfield and Brighton, Colwill now looks like a natural in the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino.
The 20-year-old can operate as a centre-half or left-back and he was recently given his first chance on the international stage by Gareth Southgate.
“Levi has a real maturity about his calmness with the ball,” Southgate explained. “He’s got good physical attributes. He’s got speed and the ability to defend the box well.”

LB: Valentin Barco
If you’ve been keeping up with the rumour mill, chances are you’ve already heard of Barco. The Boca Juniors left-back has been linked with the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Brighton after a series of impressive performances in his native country.
His current deal with Boca Juniors expires at the end of 2024, so chances are you can snatch him up for a discounted price on FM24.
CM: Eduardo Camavinga
Real Madrid are lucky enough to have several of the brightest prospects in the world within their ranks and Camavinga looks like he has one hell of a future ahead of him.
He certainly won’t come cheap on FM24, but you can bet he’ll be one of the best players on the game in due course. The French international predominately plays in midfield, although he can also do a job at left-back.
Camavinga is under contract with Real Madrid until 2027 and you might need to break the bank to secure his signature. With that being said, you won’t find many better prospects in Europe right now.
CM: Jude Bellingham
Of course, Bellingham makes his way into the XI. The 20-year-old has enjoyed a ridiculously prolific start to life at Real Madrid and he might just be one of the best players in the world right now.

CM: Jamal Musiala
The Bayern Munich star is currently being linked with a move to the Premier League as the likes of Man City and Liverpool reportedly like the look of the 20-year-old.
His technical skills are superior to the majority of other players in his age group and he’s already managed to get his hands on 10 trophies during his relatively short career so far.
“My expectations of myself are always high,” Musiala told the Bayern club website. “The more you play, the more responsibility you have. I’ve become more confident over time and back myself to push my teammates and carry them along.”
RW: Lamine Yamal
La Masia have gone and done it again. Barcelona have another gem on their hands and Yamal already looks like a star in the making.
The 16-year-old has grabbed plenty of headlines this season and we can’t help but be mesmerised by his lightning-quick feet. The sky is the limit for Yamal.

ST: Endrick
Endrick is one of the brightest emerging talents coming out of Brazil right now and we can’t wait to see him in Europe. Real Madrid reached an agreement with Palmeiras to sign the youngster when he turns 18 next year.
The teenage sensation has already taken Brazil by storm and we can’t wait to see him lighting things up at the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming years. Watch this space.
LW: Mikey Moore
The Tottenham winger is yet to make his senior debut, but FMScout have identified the 16-year-old as one of the brightest prospects in FM24. Moore has a tremendous record in youth football and it’s surely only a matter of time before he makes his breakthrough at the senior level.
