Can you name Barcelona’s XI from the 2011 UCL final vs Man Utd?
On 27 May 2011, Barcelona produced one of the best club performances of all time by beating Manchester United 3-1 in the Champions League final at Wembley. But how well do you remember that legendary side?
Having beaten arch-rivals Real Madrid in the semis, Pep Guardiola’s Barca were strong favourites to lift their second Champions League crown in three seasons against United.
And, despite Wayne Rooney equalising their opening goal, Guardiola’s side ran rings around the Premier League champions in front of an enthralled Wembley.
Two second-half goals sealed the match for Barcelona and sealed their status as one of the best teams in the history of the sport.
We’re asking you to name every player that was named in Guardiola’s starting XI that night. You should be getting a good score on this one.
If you’re looking for another challenge after this, why not have a go at naming every player to play for Real Madrid and Barcelona since 1990?
