Can you name every club Frank Lampard scored against in the PL?
During his time at West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester City, Frank Lampard scored against 39 different teams in the Premier League – but can you name them all?
After making his breakthrough under Harry Redknapp in the late 1990s, Lampard quickly established himself in the West Ham first team and notched 24 league goals for the Hammers.
But it wasn’t until his 2001 switch across London to Chelsea that the midfielder truly blossomed. As Chelsea morphed into a trophy-winning machine under Roman Abramovich’s ownership, Lampard became the leading goalscoring midfielder of his generation and scored 147 Premier League goals for the club.
Even in the mid-2010s, in the autumn of his career, Lampard scored a healthy six goals from the middle of the park for Manchester City. His longevity and consistency are unquestionable in an era where strikers were seen as solely responsible for scoring goals.
Blessed with impeccable timing and an eye for goal, Lampard’s status as one of English football’s greatest goalscoring midfielders is unquestionable.
But can you name all the clubs his 177 goals came against? There’s 39 to get and we reckon full marks are achievable. The score to beat from our office is 33/39 and you have 15 minutes to beat our total. It’s definitely achievable if you put your mind to it.
If this puts you in the mood for another quiz, why not try and name the top goalscorer from every Premier League season.
