Wayne Rooney may have left Manchester United but he’s remains the scourge of Manchester City as his goal helped Everton secure a point at the Etihad on Monday night.
Hardly the most popular figure in the blue half of Manchester, Rooney opened the scoring in the 35th minute, beating Ederson from inside the penalty area.
The goal was Rooney’s 200th in the Premier League and came 15 years after his first, in which team he has become the record goalscorer for both Manchester United and England.
