Can you name every winner of the Women’s World Cup?

Four different nations have won the FIFA Women’s World Cup – but how many of them can you name?

The first-ever Women’s World Cup was held in 1991 and there has been a total of eight tournaments since, with the ninth tournament currently underway in Australia and New Zealand.

We’ve given you just five minutes to name each of the winning nations and have listed the year in which each tournament took place just to help you out that little bit.

Winning the World Cup is the crowning moment in plenty of footballers’ careers, but only the selected few manage to get their hands on the prestigious trophy.

If this gives you a taste for another challenge, and why wouldn’t it, why not try and name the top scorer in every FA Women’s Super League season?
