Only the biggest football anorak will remember the first goalscorer from every Premier League season since 1992-93 – but how many can you remember?

For this insanely difficult task, we’ve given you 15 minutes and the club of each scorer. The 1995-96 campaign saw three players score after five minutes of their opening game, so we’ve listed all three here.

There are also two seasons – 2015-16 and 2019-20 – which were opened with an own goal. In each case, we’ve listed the club the unfortunate player was playing for rather than the opponent they scored for.
