France are one of European football’s dominant forces and have produced some excellent footballers over the years.

Many of these players are strikers who have illuminated the Champions League with their talent and goalscoring ability.

We’re asking you to name the top 20 French goalscorers in the competition’s history, and we’ve listed the clubs they scored for in the Champions League and their number of goals as a clue.

Some of the names on this list are obvious and some are not. The score from our office to beat is 14/20. A * denotes the player is still playing today.
