Playing for Real Madrid is widely considered to be the zenith of any footballer’s career, but it’s still possible to enjoy success after departing the Bernabeu. But how well do you keep up with the fortunes of former Real Madrid superstars?

We’ve put together a tricky quiz featuring 20 players that used to represent Los Blancos, asking you the question of which clubs they’re plying their trades at in 2024.

There’s quite a mix of names including, from out-and-out Galacticos like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to club legends such as Marcelo to fringe players like Jose Callejon who only made a handful of appearances and ended up forging their path elsewhere.

If you think you know where a player is, type your answer in the box. Some of these are pretty easy, so we’re expecting strong scores, but full marks would be a real achievement because a few of these are likely to catch you off guard.

You might get lucky and be wrong about one player but get the right club for another, or you could try your hand at guessing clubs across the world that you don’t know for sure but could easily imagine former Madrid superstars representing.
