The Premier League has always billed itself as the best league in the world, but it’s not always been able to keep hold of its top stars – with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich particularly prominent in buying the best players for head-spinning fees.

But can you name the Premier League’s 25 most expensive exports in history? That’s the challenge we’re setting you here.

You’ve got 15 minutes to get them all, and we’ve given you the size of the fee and the year of the transfer as clues.

We’ve also given you the name of the buying club, so if you think hard enough full marks are achievable here. We reckon you can get at least 20 before those last few frustrating ones leave you tearing your hair out.
