Can you name Real Madrid’s XI from the 2018 Champions League final?
Real Madrid are serial winners of the Champions League and they claimed their 13th European title against Liverpool in 2018, but can you name their starting XI from that night?
They actually finished second in their group in 2017-18 as Tottenham pipped them to the top of Group H. As a result, Madrid had an especially tough route to the final.
Real Madrid knocked out PSG, Juventus and Bayern Munich during their route to the final, which proved to be one of the most difficult of all time.
In the final itself, it was Gareth Bale who made all the difference for the Spanish side. The Welshman actually started the game on the bench but was introduced as a second-half substitute.
Bale has always had a knack for turning up on the big occasions and he produced one of the best Champions League final performances we have ever seen against Liverpool in Kyiv.
His bicycle kick is perhaps the greatest goal ever scored in the competition and the fact that it was in the final to seal the victory makes it even more sweeter.
Real Madrid’s triumph in 2018 was their third consecutive Champions League victory and the fourth time they had won the competition within that decade.
But we want you to name the starting line-up from that famous victory in 2018. The time to beat from the Planet Football office is 02:22.
If this gives you a taste for another challenge, why not try to name the Real Madrid XI from Gareth Bale’s debut in 2013?
