TURIN, ITALY - August 14, 2021: Aaron Ramsey of Juventus FC looks on during the friendly football match between Juventus FC and Atalanta BC.

Watch: Ex-Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey pranked by Juventus fan

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey appeared to have signed a contract termination after being tricked by Juventus fans.

Ramsay joined Juventus in 2019 after spending 11 years at Arsenal but his move to Serie A has been far from successful.

The Wales international joined on a huge £400,000 a week deal which came with high expectations, but he failed to establish himself in the team and amongst the fans.

And, as so often during his career, his time in Turin has been marred by multiple injuries. He had never played back-to-back games for Juventus, and he probably never will.

His loan move to Rangers in January 2022 seemed like it would suit all parties but the 31-year-old struggled in Scotland and missed the crucial penalty during their shoot-out defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final.

Ramsey has now returned to Juventus and was signing autographs for fans outside the club’s training facilities but appeared to have been tricked by one particular fan.

Footage has emerged online showed a fan laughing whilst holding a notebook that the Wales international had just signed, on the page, above Ramsey’s autograph it read ‘Rescissione Contrattuale’, which translates into English as ‘Contract Termination’.

Ramsey seemed completely unaware as he continued signing autographs for other fans that have been waiting patiently.

In total, Ramsey has made 70 appearances for Juventus across all competitions, scoring only six times.

He has won one Serie A title, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Italy but with the World Cup finals in November, Ramsey will be looking to secure first team football to help prepare for Wales first finals appearance since 1958.

Either way, it would appear that some Juventus are hoping Ramsey will leave their club this summer.
