Watch: Lionel Messi plays impossible no-look pass to Neymar for PSG

Lionel Messi played an outrageous pass to Neymar without looking while being on the floor during Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 victory over Nice on Saturday.

Messi opened scored the scoring with a jaw-dropping free-kick – his fifth Ligue 1 goal of the season – that lifted the roof off the Parc des Princes.

But Gaetan Laborde equalised for the away side shortly after half time and PSG looked set to be thwarted by their stubborn opponents.

However, a Kylian Mbappe strike inside the final 10 minutes ensured PSG remained top of the table with their eighth victory from their nine matches so far.

While Messi’s free-kick was the talk of social media after the game, our attention was drawn to a sensational pass to Neymar whilst he was inconvenienced by being on the floor.

With the scores at 1-1, the Argentina international was brought down by an opponent. But, just as the referee was about to blow for a free-kick, Messi somehow managed to force the ball to Neymar.

It’s not until you see the replay do you realise that the legendary forward actually played a no-look pass to Neymar, whilst on the floor with his weaker right foot.

Messi is in tremendous form right now; he spent the international break scoring four goals in Argentina’s two friendly matches against Honduras and Jamaica.

And, despite talk of a summer move, it’s been reported he’s been offered a contract renewal by PSG as they look to thwart Barcelona’s hopes of a dream return to Camp Nou.

PSG are reportedly ‘serious’ with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi directly involved in negotiations as they look to tie their talisman down.

The Catalan publication claims that Messi’s entourage have been ‘smoothing out rough edges’ when it comes to the forward potentially heading back to Barcelona.

But, for now, the player hasn’t decided on his future. He’s just concentrating on reinforcing his GOAT status with moments like this…
